Supporting women through the cycles of life and Motherhood
Redefine what health means for you through a deeper understanding of what health and wellbeing means to you, learn how to move with your cycles and how understanding matrescence supports all parts of us.

About Gently You
Gently You is home to supporting women with movement and wellbeing through the cycles of you - Gently You.
This may be cyclical (seasons, hormonal, cyclical or motherhood).
A place to honour and celebrate the woman AND the mother, to help her navigate through all the noise of the world to then create an understanding and defintion of what health and motherhood means for you - Gently You
Everything is connected - When we can understand what matrescence means for us we can be more compassionate with our physical bodies and vice versa. When we are feeling connected to ourself - mind, body and soul, we are able to move about the world with kindness, strength, trust and grace.
Each cycle of life and motherhood we move through brings different intentions for what we need the most for our health and wellbeing. What we needed in our 20s will be different to what we need when we are in our 80s (independence).
Gently You empowers you to trust your intuition and move with the cycles of you (hormonal, motherhood, seasonal).
Reconnect. Redefine. Rebuild strength, confidence and trust in your body.
I look forward to connecting with you

Matrescence Coaching
Matrescence is the transition and identity shift a woman goes through as she becomes a mother - physical, emotional, hormonal, social, mental, spiritual, cultural and economic.
It's not just a moment.
Through matrescence coaching, I offer a compassionate, safe space to explore your unique experience.
This is for you if you're:
Feeling overwhelmed or stretched thin
Longing to reconnect with yourself after birth or years into motherhood
Wondering where your needs fit in the rhythm of daily life
Feeling lost and wondering why and how you can reconnect
Wanting to feel heard, seen and supported through this cycle of motherhood.
Together we will explore:
Your personal experience of matrescence
Identity shifts
Maternal wall
Invisible load of motherhood
Self-care that is realistic and restorative
Guilt, rage, joy and grief - and everything in between
Practical ways to feel grounded and empowered in this season
Coming home to yourself with gentleness, strength and knowing.
Offered as 1:1 sessions as a package or gather as a group in a Women's Circle alongside movement and nervous system support
Workshops and speaking
Bringing matrescence, cyclical wellbeing, and motherhood support to your community.
I offer speaking engagements, guest presentations, and workshops for organisations, events, and community groups seeking to better support the lived experience of motherhood — from postpartum and beyond.
With a background as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Matrescence Coach, my talks combine research, embodiment, and storytelling to help others understand the identity shift of becoming (and being) a mother.
I speak on topics such as:
Understanding matrescence
The seasons and cycles of motherhood
Nervous system regulation for mothers
Redefining strength, self-care & health in motherhood
Sustainable movement practices for busy or overwhelmed mums
Supporting women beyond the early postpartum years
Each talk or workshop is tailored to your audience — whether you're a community group, school, health clinic, wellness centre, or workplace supporting parents.
I bring both lived experience and professional insight, creating spaces where mothers (and those who support them) feel seen and heard.
Hi I'm Rach

Helping women through the cycles of motherhood
Im a mama to four amazing children and proud wife. With a background in dance, I have always had a love for movement. This lead me down the path to completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation), followed by a post-graduate diploma to complete my Exercise Physiology accreditation.
Through working with women and my own journey into motherhood, I soon discovered the missing link - Matrescence.
Here the birth of Gently You was created.
A place to learn to listen to our inner cycles, trust our intuition, be kind to ourselves through the ebb and really step into the fire we feel the flow.
Because we cant "smart goals" motherhood.
Im so looking foward to connecting with you

What other mums say about Gently You @ Home
Winter Solstice marks the midpoint of the year.
A quiet turning point.
A time to honour what’s passed and gently hope for what’s to come.
With a candle lit, I invited my children to write down what they are proud of from the past six months.
We then each wrote down our hopes, desires, dreams, intentions for the second half of the year — tucked into an envelope we’ll open again at Summer Solstice.
And honestly… when I started writing my own reflections, I was surprised by how much had happened. These moments can slip away from us and life can feel like an endless list of to-do's that we never get to - all the while we have already carried, held and done SO much. Sometimes its nothing like you imagined or planned for, yet welcomed and pleasant surprises.
I wanted to share this practice with you too.
Your Winter Solstice Ritual 🌙
🕯 Light a candle
📝 Write down what you’re celebrating and proud of from the last 6 months
🌱 Write your hopes or intentions for the rest of the year
📦 Tuck it away to open on the Summer Solstice
We are often so hard on ourselves.
Focused on what didn’t happen.
On what’s next.
Let this be your gentle pause.
A moment to see yourself and all you’ve held.
To say: Well done, WOW, that's been a lot, I’m proud of us, I'm proud of me.
I'd love to hear what you are celebrating from these last 6 months.
With love,
Rach
